This series of programs was written by Coach Leah Harvey (PT, DPT).
Part 1: Postpartum Rehab Guide - this is our comprehensive, evidence-based postpartum rehab guide designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy to help new moms recover and rebuild after pregnancy and childbirth.
This initial 12-weeks of the program is best suited for the very early stages postpartum (can be started as early as day after delivery!), focusing on reconnection and restorative movement. It serves as a foundational building block for safely and effectively returning to your desired level and type of fitness. Whether that’s running, yoga, functional fitness, weightlifting, or simply keeping up with your daily life- the Postpartum Rehab Guide was thoughtfully built with the earliest days postpartum in mind.**It is designed to be started immediately after birth but can also be started further out as well.
Part 2: Core Fundamentals - think of this as "continuing education" after your graduate from the Rehab Guide, this is where we will continue to guide you through the Rebuild while you get back into more familiar exercise.
The second 12-weeks of this program is the first half of a progressive Core Fundamentals program launching soon! Navigating movement postpartum - how, when, what, where -even after proper rehab, is a monumental shift and adjustment. As part of the Postpartum Rehab + Rebuild Guide, you will now have access to this additional 12-weeks to equip you with the tools to continue your focus on pelvic floor and core stability and function alongside, or as compliments to, your chosen programming.
We will grant you access to all material for the full 6-months as we understand that mamas may need to move through the guide + accessory tools at different speeds. You will have contact and communication with Coach Leah throughout the entirety of the program through the TrainHeroic App.
